This is a business-specific starter policy and should be reviewed by an Ontario privacy lawyer before launch.
We may collect name, email, phone, learner age group, approximate French level, learning goals, scheduling and transaction information.
Information is used to process bookings and payments, deliver tutoring, communicate with clients, administer the business and meet legal/accounting obligations.
A parent or legal guardian should complete bookings for minors. We collect only information reasonably necessary to provide tutoring.
We may use Stripe for payments, Calendly for scheduling, video-conferencing services for lessons and an email provider for confirmations. Some providers may process information outside Canada.
We use reasonable safeguards and retain information only as reasonably necessary for service delivery, legal requirements and business records.
Subject to applicable law, individuals may request access to and correction of personal information.
